This book, consisted of five chapters, may be considered as the first book on Rorschach Test of Projective Techniques for assessment of personality in the entire Northeast India. Northeast is one of the few regions in India which is bestowed with incredible cultural, lingual, societal diversities. Particularly, Assam is not legging behind. This book has mainly focuses upon the environmental factors which can play in important role in shaping our children's behaviour. The Rorschach Test is an important tool for assessing various motivational aspects of a child or adult in any way. The Rorschach Test is a Projective psychological test consisting of 10 inkblots printed on cards (five in black and white, five in colour) created in 1921 with the publication of psychodiagnostik by Hermann Rorschach, During the 1940s, the test was synonymous with clinical psychology. The present volume is an addition to the studies on Personality Assessment of Institutionalized Children and will come handy for any one who is interested in the study of personality development of children irrespective of the levels of education.

Krishna Prasad Gogoi is an Associate Professor of Education Department of Dibrugarh University, Assam. He completed his M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Gauhati University and joined as Lecturer in Dibrugarh University in the year 1996. He also completed his B.Ed programme from Dibrugarh University in 2010. During his professional carrer, he attended various conferences, seminars, workshops at regional, national and international level. He was also got selected for short term fellowship programme of ICSSR, Western Regional Centre, Mumbai University for library work at national as well as international repute of the country. The author published research papers at his capacities in various reputed journals listed by UGC as well in indexed journals (impact factor journal). The author has written out two reference books for college and university students. One is Children with Special Needs and the other is A Text book on Guidance and Counselling. He also chaired an important technical session of an international conference held in Bangkok, 2015 sponsored by UNESCO on Social Science. Besides, he is the member of different academic and non-academic bodies of colleges and universities. The author has greatly contributed to the Dibrugarh University in particular but to the society in general by assisting in introducing a self-finance course on M.A. in Applied Psychology as per UGC norms and acted as its founder Director in charge from 2010 to 2015. Presently, he is guiding his Ph.D. scholars, M.Phil scholars, M.Ed dissertation as well as P.G. dissertation of IGNOU. His area of interest in research is Psychology, Educational Psychology and Guidance and Counselling.
