Having a glorious birth amid hills and dales of the Chotanagpur plateau as back as 1921 Man in India journal completed a hundred years of its celebrated existence with the advent of the year 2020. It has a long and glorious history of a hundred years. A galaxy of illustrious academicians and stalwart anthropologists have been associated with this journal. It is an age-old, celebrated anthropological journal of the world. The main objective of this publication Man in India: Centenary Passage of Anthropology Journal is to give within its limited compass scope a bird's eye view of the history of Man in India and briefly highlight its salient features with rare photographs, which indicate the nature and extent of the research activities of anthropology in India and world anthropology, as well as its existence and identity.
