Literary Works on Bharathanatyam, with references to udgranthas , have come across in number. The texts too are rewritten and translated , with a new resurgence. Director of her School, Sourbha Kala Parishath (R) Mangalore based in  Karnataka, India, The institute past three decades exemplifies the norms of Dancing Art. She was the first youngest artist to have awarded PhD Degree in Karnataka in the field of bharathanrityam, is research oriented in all her visions and presentations. A Post graduate in English Literature and M.B.A holder in Human resource, is an all rounder.  She has performed Internationally, at several conferences and acclaimed occasions at Dubai ,Abudhabi, Sharjha and Oman. She has also conducted dance workshops, dance drama shows which conferred upon her felicitations and honor abroad.

A recipient of Kittur Rani chennamma State Award from the Government of Karnataka, she is accoladed with National level awards and Titles like Natyavisharade, Kannada Siri, Kalashri etc, from culturally commendable Institutions. The Ministry of Culture, New Delhi confers her with fellowship in support to her research works.

A Teacher, Choreographer, Researcher and a classical dancer of Caliber, cultivates  melody and meticulousness in her work.
