The Dandāmi Mādiā Dictionary is an extensive compilation of words and phrases from the Dandāmi Mādiā language spoken in South Bastar,Chhattisgarh. This language, also known as Dandāmi Mādiā Boli, has its roots in Koyā Mātā,an older form regarded as a variant of the Gondi dialect. The dictionary represents the culmination of unwavering dedication by its authors,who worked selflessly from 2018 to September 2023,even amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, to create this invaluable resource.Remarkably,this project was undertaken without any financial compensation, driven purely mitment to serve the people of Bastar. The dictionary was conceived to support language learners and to preserve the linguistic and cultural heritage of Bastar.
